CLASSES                                                                       Registration Forms

Youth Foil

 

Intro to Fencing:  For youth ages 7-17 who have no prior fencing experience.  Parents are welcome to take this class with their children.  (Click here for schedule of upcoming classes)

Young Blades:  For fencers ages 7-12 who have completed our Intro. to Fencing class or another similar class.

Beginner Youth:  Fencers must have completed our Intro. to Fencing class or another similar class.

Advanced Beginner Youth: Fencers must have completed Beginner level classes or have permission of the coach.

Intermediate Youth:  Fencers must have completed Advanced Beginner level class or have permission of the coach.

Competitive I and II:  Fencers must have completed Intermediate level class or have permission of the coach.  

National Team:  For fencers looking for a higher level of  training with special emphasis on competition strategies.

 

Goodson Rec Center:  Coaches from SDFA are teaching Introduction and Continuing fencing classes through South Suburban Parks and Rec District at the Goodson Rec Center (near Arapahoe and University).  Classes are held on Tuesday afternoons  4:15 - 5:45 pm and run in 6 week sessions.  To register contact South Suburban at:  www.ssprd.org

 

Youth Epee

With permission of coach.  

 

Adult: Ages 16 - 96. 

Epee and Foil

For fencers of all ability levels.

*Adult Fencers with no prior experience should begin in our Introduction to Fencing classes held Tuesday nights 7:00-8:30 or take a private lesson prior to participating in their first three classes.  Click here for Intro class schedule.

Colorado Free University:  We offer fencing classes for adults through Colorado Free University.  Classes are held at our facilities on Tuesday nights 7:00 - 8:30 pm.  To register contact CFU at: www.freeu.com

*All fencers should wear loose fitting clothing appropriate for exercising including sweat pants and sneakers.
